SEO is an acronym for “Search Engine Optimization”.  In short it is the methodical practice of getting organic or “free” traffic from search engine results.  Major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing provide millions of searches a day, providing result content as websites, images, videos all displayed in a ranked based system based on complex algorithms which calculate the most relevant results to its users.
